Dundee Model Railway Club – DMRC – formed in April 1949 from members within Dundee Society of Model Engineers who wanted to concentrate on model railways rather than model everything ! 

DMRC have had various meeting places including a basement of a toy shop, a scouts hall and Dudhope Castle.  We settled in our current address in the 80s where we have a large layout room, a workroom, a canteen and accessible-friendly toilets.

The club has progressed from just a place to play trains to a proper club where layouts for outside display/exhibitions are created.
