Description

One of our members first attempt at an O gauge layout, built primarily as a test track with 9′ of scenic and two traversers. The main bridge was inspired by the Lattice viaduct bridge at Dalguise and was contructed from plywwod and 3D printed lattice panels and towers. The river section was made using castable resin, with plaster cast rock abutments.

By not including any vehicles or figures on the layout the period remains flexible, allowing the owner to use his pre-grouping Highland Railway stock along with more modern Steam or Diesel stock.

The traversers are hand made, and are remotely controlled, one via DCC the other with a handheld dongle. With Stepper motors used to move the traverser table.
